Molover,

Dr. Abbiy is question mark   Don't hurry. Time will tell. He gets credit for resolving the stand off between Ethiopia and Eritrea. For that, he was awarded the Nobel Prize. Some think it was a decision that should have stood the test of time. He has tremendous job that is awaiting him. But, we will see how he resolves the very situation right in his home, Oromia and Ethiopia as a whole in extension.

Edina Agamina, visionaries sometimes lose their vision. Abiy got blind. He could have become the greatest Ethiopian leader ever. Instead, he wasted his opportunities and is now a worse back-stabber than even the Agames. That he shot himself in his arse is not our fault. Agames did that too, remember.

   you brought this to life after 3.5 years? no stone is unturned to prove yourself worthy amongst eritreans   man they did a huge damage on your self worth. I guess half a century worht insults and curses like "agame, qondaf, qordad...etc" broke your back bone beyond repair. You just keep running to them to prove that you are better for them

Yes, he is truly a visionary. But the very few visionaries too can also get obstructed by those vision less crowds in the field.

I repeat this and I truly believe that Abiy Ahmed is a visionary, who has changed many things on the ground that we can see and feel. But he is also one of those who faced most obstructing blockage in his efforts to achieve his goals. The more you thrive the more you also face obstructing blockages in the field. If you don't have a vision who cares about what you do and think of obstructing your efforts?

Just compare the achievements of the two gentlemen Abiy Ahmed in Ethiopia and Isayas Afworki in Eritrea, the former has been in power for just 5 years, while the latter has been there for over 30 years. One leads a country of over 120 Millions while the other leads that of 5 Millions (an estimation) and the difference in the degree and complexities of the two roles must be very clear for any layman.

Still just try to compare what Abiy Ahmed has achieved in those very short number of years to that of what Isayas Afworki has done over that so many years in their respective countries.

Today one of them makes a call to his citizens abroad to come home and enjoy life at home, free of any external influences, implying there is a hope back-home now, the other pushes his citizens out and turn around to force them to contribute money for "their country" from abroad. Nothing has substantially changed in Eritrea over the last 30 years for the citizens on the ground, citizens have no hope. The leadership of the country is busy now trying to block the attempts of the neighboring country to get better for what ever reason. One of the reasons could be pure envy.

And the mob in the internet behind the vision-less leader dare to lecture us about Ethiopia being a failed state (which is a thriving and hopeful state), not their own country, where there is no hope for the ordinary citizenry on the ground.

Eritrea was sanctioned for 20 years & still somehow is. Your country, wouldn't survive a week.

Eritrea feeds itself. Your country, is till begging.

Without Eritrea's help, Vodkachew Reda would be your "visionary" PM today.

I could go on, but it's like talking to a wall.

Go on to the end and tell us also about how a weak government can record a GDP growth of something like over 7 %, in spite of all the challenges, and the strong, which could withstand a sanction the weak country wouldn't have survived even for a week for over 20 years, didn't make it and create a hopeful place for its own citizens?

I can only assume that the purpose of the existence of such a "strong country" in the world is just to withstand sanctions for over 20 years, yeah?

In that case I would say, yeah great! Go on and withstand the sanctions! Care less for anything else!
