Ethiopia does not deserve Lemma

Suspicion is the name of the game and rumours will make you or break you in Ethiopian politics dominated by vultures like Ermias Legsse. Abiy's ambition and Lemma's sacrifice are two polar opposites and Ethiopia seems to have chosen the dazzle of the flamboyant Abiy to the humble strength of the steely Lemma, in this Abiy and Ethiopia are the greater losers.
By eliminating Lemma, Abiy has exposed himself naked

Brother Justo,
I don't have any doubt in my mind about Obbo Lemma that he is such a humble Oromo brother. History will remember him as a freedom fighter who played major role in making change by kicking the coward TPLF stinky as*s. But let's be honest, he is not the right person to lead Ethiopia at this moment. Because Ethiopia is a country of so diverse society with over 100 million population and the current political landscape is very complicated. What makes it even worse is that few Oromo extremists, Handful of wealthy TPLF terrorists and few Amhara Triabalists are working so hard 24/7 to make Ethiopia like Syria... and ... if possible to disintegrate Ethiopia like Yugoslavia. I don't think Obbo Lemma has the mind make-up and leadership qualification to stand against these chaos. If Obbo Lemma were the leader of Ethiopia, He would have resigned long time ago....It means, Ethiopia would be history.
However, I have to disagree with you about Dr. Abby Amhed. The Nobel Peace Prize Winner His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Abby is the one and only one who has all qualities such as his strong belief in Ethiopia unity as a country, Leadership qualification, humbleness and mindset make-up to lead Ethiopia. If it was not for the Oromo Prime Minister Dr. Abby Ahmed, the wealthy Terrorist TPLF group and few Oromo extremists would have disintegrated Ethiopia two years ago.
Yes, you are right.. Ethiopia does not deserve the great Obbo Lemma... Neither is Obbo Lemma the right person to lead Ethiopia during this historical time.
God bless Ethiopia and the Nobel Peace Prize Winner Dr. Abby
God bless Obbo Lemma.

Guys,
Abbiy still have to face elections. In that case, his formidable opponent will be Lemma unless Abbiy suspends elections indefinitely or puts Lemma behind bars.

Beqele, Jawar, Lemma, etc... each will be vying the office. Abbiy is wounded. If Eskinder runs for office without any prominent names from Amhara, he may win it too.

Bro Hawzen, I don't necessarily disagree with you. Abiy has proven himself to be a capable leader. But I haven't seen anything that suggests that Lemma has challenged Abiy's leadership. He seems to simply have different ideas and different timetable, and he has not been vocal about this either. From what I have seen they are accusing Lemma of being passive and not attending every meeting and not of anything serious.
Abiy owes Lemma personal gratitude, and in ethical politics this has to mean something. Otherwise what goes around has a tendency of coming around.
It would have looked much better for Abiy to be deferential to Lemma, while going ahead with his own politics. Humiliating Lemma does not look good, and it exposes a certain flank of Abiy.
BTW, I think Lemma would have managed the transition politics as well as Abiy.

this has nothing to do with abiy or ethiopia in my opinion.
lemma is still defense minister. he is not jailed or charged with anything.
he was just removed from cc of the pp party for lack of any interest or activity in that party.
he even tweeted (must be confirmed whether the account is his) that he is not even a member of the pp party.
evidently he didn't show any interest to be an active member of the party.
he should leave the party officially.
may be he doesn't want to lose his job as defense minister.
it is the way parties work that sometimes you have different views and lose the majority in the party.
in this case either you still try to implement what the majority decided or leave the party.
lemma stayed in the middle of no mans land for too long and should officially leave the party and face the consequences also of losing his ministerial job.
