A meeting of the executive committee of Ezema ended in chaos and name calling after most of the executive committee members asked why Dr. Birhanu Nega keeps failing its members citing an example of W/o Hirut Kfile who was arrested in the Hachalu killing conspiracy and the aftermath killings in Oromia and Adds Ababa.

Members said that she was not involved in any fashion or form and it might be a deliberate arrest to show to the public that Abiye is not only arresting Oromos and Oromo Parties and groups but others too. After Abiye arrested for no other reason than his hate for Eskinder , Eng. Yilekal and Lidetu , he pushed the envelop a bit further by arresting Hirut Kifle of Ezema because word on the street in Addis was that almost one or more member of 80% of oppositions parties and groups are arresting while Ezema was left alone because of their love affair with Abiye's government.

It is well known how Dr. Birhuanu is the loyal errand boy running for Abiye all over the place. Him using his now 10th Party membership, Ezema and gave it as "slaughter sheep" to Abiye . He never dare criticize Abiye for his loath for power which Abiye might give him any kind of leadership in the government since his Ezema won't win any votes in Addis. Now it all exploded in Birhanu's face with the arrest of Hirut and his comrades asking that the Party needs to make clear to the Ethiopian people if they are opposition (real) or a supportive member of Bilsigina.

Andualem Arage, specially was visibly upset that the Party has become a puppet of Birhanu and under the spell of Bilsigina.

Sources say the next meeting might decide the fate of the Party. It might either Split or people like Andualem Arage might resign. They said that they are fight for true democracy , freedom of Speech, Human Rights, free and fair election, independent Judiciary and governmental institutions, not to be a sub-clown for Bisligina. The past 2 years, Birhanu and Andargachew forced Ezema to be a puppet but lately with the never ending killings , displacements, human right violations, extra judicial killings and arrest of the innocent has forced most of the leadership to question the head of the Party, Dr. Birhanu Nega .

the country is currently in an epic fight that will going to decide the future of Ethiopia and we are not in the same business as usaual mood or sort of deal.

It seems to me now that even someone from outside of the country is getting into the frey and sharing his/her views of what is at stake here.

I remember Dr. Berhanu saying the first day he re-entered the country before 2 years or so something like, "our main objective is for now about trying to save the country, before setting our goal on aspiring to assume a political power or wage a political campaign against those in power" (it is about setting a priority) and he has proven himself since then that he is someone who can act as a truly stateman. He didn't disown any form of opposing those in power but said the priority should be saving the country, and he has my respect for the vision.

We need more Dr. Berhanu for the time for our country.
