Wolqait, Tsegede, most of Gondar was under Tigray administration.
Bantu Menelik gave it to amara to weaken ancient Ethiopia. Menelik was also a bantu immigrant and saw ancient Ethiopia as his enemy. He betrayed Yohannes by signing a treaty with Italy. Menelik also sided with Mahdist Sudan against ancient Ethiopia (Tigray).

The Bantu dance is similar to Amara dance.
