Historically migration in Ethiopia has been southward. As it stands now Tigrai, except for WolQait and Raya areas, is predominantly Tigrign speaking region. You may also say there are a few Kunamas, Afars and Irobs. one third of Tigreans are living outside of the region called Tigrai. It would be very unnatural for anybody to want to rule historic Tigrai other than Tigreans.

Tigrai will be the region that will be hurt the most if and when the ethnic federalism is implemented the way envisioned by TPLF. This is the reason why TPLF is now at the cross road and highly reactant to even go for the 39th that it has been cheering for the longest. No one will bother you guys coming to your region for anything. The problem is TPLF's dream of re-installing its lost ethnic hegemony on the rest of us. Those long 27 years have now gone for no return. However, the dream is still alive and has to be turned in to a nightmare if we all are to be free.

I am against puppet governance which is the source of all ills in the country since the bogus federalism came to be. If real balance of power is maintained in the country, then real freedom would enshrine where we all will feel equally represented.

I hate to tell you that Amhara-Tigray "road closer" talk is TPLF's broken record for a long time now.

That road has been open; everyone knows that!

More over, Abiy went all the way to Sawa facing TPLF's nemeses to have Tigreans not just road but, access to the sea outlets! Didn't he? Be thankful!

Abiy and Isaias love and dream to govern Tigray but that will be always a night mare to them. The opening of the Tigray -Eritirea road is mutually beneficial to Tigray and Eritirea but Isaias and Abiy are not interested for a genuine peace that benefit the people but to consolidate their power at the cost the people.
