I find the least too simple. Ethiopia was manufacturing drones and small planes when TPLF-EPRDF was in power. I think Abiy has dismantled the military industrial complex. Why France, why not Russia or USA or UK or China???
Using French defense technology is OK. But Ethiopia should also look in other leading nations as a joint venture etc.
Abiy is a traitor and the wrong person to lead Ethiopia. We need TPLF-EPRDF back in power because they are more nationalist and patriotic. Abiy is too soft and a Pentecostal.

You're right, but I don't think you've read the letter in its entirety! PM Abiy is trying to shop on a long-term credit, and there are not many countries that are willing to sell military arsenal on a long-term credit.Why France, why not Russia or USA or UK or China???
