Is Norway to blame for what recently happened in Ethiopia?

With all its shortcomings, I am with the forces of change (“ye Lewutu hayl” - as we called them.) However, like many of my fellow Ethiopians, Diasporas included, I am frustrated and dismayed by the level of carelessness and negligence with which they are handling the change (lewut.) I am with the view that without justice and accountability there won’t be a meaningful and sustainable change, without law and order there won’t be any change (“lewut”.) You can’t bring “lewut” by eshruru Jawar, Eshruru Dawud and more importantly by eshruru TPLF -the mother of all evil in the country.
Where and how on earth is such patience and tolerance for a known criminals and traitors who swear on destroying a nation beginning from their young age to well in to their adult hood would ever bring a desired change by trying make them useful and productive citizens? –it is rare and dangerous maneuver.
Dr. Abey, Isn’t it enough to experiment on innocent people’s life? Ethiopians are supporting your administration doesn’t mean you are doing the right thing. It just means, at the moment, we don’t have a better viable option than Prosperity Party(PP), however it must be underlined that it is the reluctance and corruption of the same party- PP that brought us in to such crisis.
Unimaginable sacrifice was paid to bring this change , however the forces of change have mishandled/mismanaged it thus far. The yellow flag Jawar signals (“ተከብቢያለሁ”) that caused the then massacre of 80+ innocent lives would have been more than enough warning(indication) to the authorities as to where we were heading if they were willing to listen. Had that genocide been admitted by authorities it would have avoided the latest massacre. If authorities had only named it appropriately and taken appropriate response it would have been a step in the right direction. But the incompetence and in some cases deliberate acts of corrupt Oromia regional officials and the security apparatus that warning was overlooked and it almost cost us the country itself.
The failures of Abey’s administration are numerous:
- Failure to retrieve a penny of the money looted by TPLF during their 20+ years of looting spree and is being used by the same groups to finance the chaos in the country(broken promise)
-Failure to act in anyway on TPLF criminals consequently making them stronger (making them bold in usual criminal activities)
-Unable to label TPLF and their Trojan horses terrorists as they are clearly who they are (a mistake with grave consequences)
-Unable/unwilling to listen prominent Ethiopian scholars’ advices (dangerous and know it all trend)
-Putting the country’s crown company (Ethiopian airline) in the hands of a mafia group led by Tewelde (frustrating and sickening)
What is worrying me most is, there is no guarantee the Abey’s government is not going to bring the ”gada” crap and release Jawar, Bekele and other criminals which, am afraid, will be the end of this administration and with that the collapse of the nations.
Tplf’s intentions, the minute they were kicked out of Addis Ababa, was to paint Abey’s administration as worse than weyanie‘s administration in terms of security , citizens’ safety and so far they have almost , because Abey’s negligence and carelessness(so called tolerance and “mihdarun masfat“ crap) succeeded . Instead of acting decisively on them Abey’s administration resorted to begging which in turn is empowering them. Abey’s miscalculation is that he is trying to teach these Jawarian and weyanie savages democracy before teaching them the law of the land. You can’t bring peace to this country by directly or indirectly empowering them instead of destroying them beyond repair.
It is unheard of groups attempting on the life a PM and still roaming in the country and, of course, planning another one. We are not talking about the life of Dr. Abey alone here. We are talking Prime Minister Dr. Abey, had anybody thought about the difference?
Mark my word this is the last chance the Abey government has to ascertain his power while he still has enough reasons and support to consolidate his power. The next time weyanie hit this government using, be it themselves or their Trojan horses (Jawar or Bekele) there won’t be room for the prime minister to crack jokes in front of parliament. At that time Ethiopians will be against this same government they put high hopes on, in the same way Ethiopians did against Mengistu Hailemariam. What else would you expect if you don’t protect them from these so called Jawarian mercenary savages? Abey’s administration wouldn’t have reach to this stage if they only had supported Eskinder Nega’s claim of genocide by Jawar to the UN. This government ridiculed him then and now this .....??
So why are Dr. Abey and his administration so reluctant to take any meaningful action against these irresponsible, greedy criminals while having full knowledge of their activities right under his nose? Does it have anything to do with Abey’s noble prize? Is he becoming a captive of this prize? If I were Abey I will just shovel it aside for now and focus on the people who brought him to this stage and do the right thing for them than doing some untested obscure social experiments on innocent people. It is not Norway or OLF or OPDO that brought you to power. It is the people of Ethiopia that brought you to power. Hence, without any dilemma, they’re supposed to be your focus.
My immediate and biggest worry and Abey’s biggest threat is if he compromised without punishing Tplf and these two (Jawar, Bekele and their partners in crime) traitors, criminals and release them from prison without serving time for their publicly witnessed crimes!!!
