Is there more of a destructive regionalist than that agazian garbage called Tesfatsion ? Let us look at regionalism. We all need to look at ourselves first. Regionalism is a sign of victim hood or the sense of victim hood. If the government at the helm is dominated by some region or religion, then you have to expect that. Being critical, of your view on Eritrean muslims, especially the jebertis, is something you may need to examine yourself. How do you get rid off regionalism. It is a lot easier than you think. First, people need to be heard. Whether we think of them as regionalists or not, we have to have respect for them and hear their views. In the American constitution. we have what we call the right to free assembly. Whatever you call them, regionalists, they will be that up until they feel justice prevails meaning up until they have a say in their own government. Up until they have the right to elect one of their own in their own affairs. Regionalism is easier than the religion divide that is simmering under the ground. I believe we need to look at own selves before we judge others. Anyone has the right to assemble under his or her own wereda or awraja. We need to respect that. That is the only way you can develop respect and minimize the feeling of alienation.
