The answer is simply NO because of the following reasons and factors:
1. Historical problems with AMHARA politicians who see an independent TIGRAY as a threat to them and their future.

2. WOLAYTA, GAMO, GAMBELLA will stand against the plan!

3. Same is true with the TIGRINYA people in ERITREA. They don't want see independent TIGRAY. GURAGE PEOPLE think they are from a place called GURA'A in ERITREA and will stand against independent TIGRAY and will support their brothers there.

4. However OROMOS will welcome an independent TIGRAYwhich will open the door for independent OROMO COUNTRY. OROMOS think any misunderstanding between AMHARAS AND TIGRAYANS will be beneficial to them.

5. TIGRAY can separate from Ethiopia if they get support from AMHARA farmers. AMHARA elites have no problem with independent TIGRAY

Never trust TIGRAY politicians who kiss children and women, whose eyebrows meet in the middle.

Tigray can declare independence as long as that Lucifer returns eskista-lands back (Welkait) (North Raya Must he returned to Eskista land of Amhara. That will be the battle ground

The Gondere Tekeze Dam will be shut down in Tslemet that Powers the whole garbage Tigrayans with free electricity from Amharas resources

Now Tigray will loose her electricity

Tigray is no threat to any body. Amhara can eat it alive just like mengistu would have if tplf was not hiding in Etitrean fox hole protected by shaebia.
The only thing which will prevent tigray from declaring its independence is because it can stand in it's own feet.
Tigray has no natural resources and even if it has there is no avenue to export or import a crap from and out of tigray.
Just like the tegarus always rode some one else to get what they deceivingly achieved, there is no way in hell they can live with out depending on Ethiopia's resources and benovelance of the ethio govt.
As of me I wish they declare their independence now, tomorrow or this week.
Then we the Eritreans don't have to wait for a green light from Ethiopia to cross ethio border to destroy woyane ones for all.
I mean, it won't be seen as if we violated Ethio border but a tiny, coward, poor, beggar and ungrateful little sovereign nation.
