No war is needed with tplf, if Abiy wants he can get tplf beg for mercy within weeks. If he just blocks the roads from Sudan and Djubuti as it is like the roads from Eritrea and Amhara... the goal can be achieved.
You low iq cadres can scream for wars, but having the hated tplf might be of benefits to the dictators lifespan...this might be a little complicated for you, but the biggest win for dictators is holding their citizens hostage mentally by creating an external enemy buggy man and just so they can avoid domestic questions at arms length.
