ABIYE SHOULD RESIGN AND LET MUSTAFE BE PM

Post by experts » 18 Jul 2020, 07:25

After 2 sad years, looking at Ethiopia today, one can be sure non of us thought we will be in this disaster where thousands displaced, thousands killed some grusemly never seen in Ethiopia history, businesses, homes, etc destroyed, a divided nation. The blame goes around to all segments of our society and it starts with Abiye who messed it up so bad. With no experience, so young and having cadres around him robbed him of good advise. The list goes down Demeke is so rubbish, he should have resigned a year ago when he couldn't defend his constituency, the Amhara. All medias, the Ethiopia populas in general believing and acting on rumors and gossip. The economy in Shambles, a disasterous foreign policy based not on Ethiopia national interest but Asmara's will. TPLF, OLF and others including Ezema , etc all should take their fair share of blame. Nobody is clean. Clearly Abiye has no clue how to lead this great nation of ours. It is time for Abiye to resign and peacefully pass on the PM to Mustafe of Somali region. Once a leader lose his constituency, Abiye lost the backing of the Oromos, he has no legitimacy to stand on. Bilsigina should call an emergency meeting and fix it asap. Running to Issayas every week is a sign of a leader who ran out of any sensible moral authority to lead. For those who blindly supported Abiye for 2 years, look at the country today and open your eyes, it is getting worse and will get worse.

If you were to be asked to show any emprical proof to all of these your claims, then you will be sent back to your hideouts one more time. Simply use of catchy words, which could have been used by some scholars, wouldn't do it. Get it, what is at stake here is above Abiy Ahmed or any other personality for that matter and take in the bitter pill and chill down.

The people were killed because of the policies of those for whom you are making propaganda in the internet and other medias now and you can't proof emprically that it was because of PM Abiy Ahmed's government policies.

Eden: the election would be ideal and good but due to Covid, insecurity and other problem, it would be wise for Bilsigina to replace Abiye and get things in order for election in the near future.

As some of you suggested Mustafe might have some issues too but who doesn't? I wish you could suggest your own. Is it Lema, Gedu, Demeke, etc.

Others like "defend the truth" these are shabia cadres who for the first time are taking hot shower in Addis, thank to Abiye. Leboch.

Abiy’s constituency are Ethiopians. Oromos are part of Ethiopians. The fiction that Abiy has no support from Oromos might serve the Mekele crowd to go to sleep without taking high dose medication, but it is not true.

Abiy is not going anywhere. Just declare your independence, and be done with, rather than endangering the people of Ethiopia with unending civil war.

Was the shower that has been vacated by your associates lately?

If you had to leave, then someone else has to step in, what else did you expect?

Lemma is the best choice to lead until election. In my view, he is the best chance to unite the Oromo elites which means addressing Ethiopia's problem number one.

Eden , we do not need a leader who unite the Oromo elites , whatever that means. We need a leader who unites Ethiopians. That means any extremist tribal politician would not be considered as a choice.

Eden,

Lemma is the king maker. He would be anti TPLF as much as Abbiy is. The childish neighborhood gangster, Jawar should be shipped out of Ethiopia for the Oromos to be unified under Abbiy or Lemma. They did it before, and they can do it again. TPLF should stop trying to play the king maker using the stolen State funds.

I think Lemma answered your question. Oromo elites unite first, then work towards uniting with others. Lemma told you that when asked why he opposed OPDO/ ODP merger with others to form PP. He doesn't see Ethiopia elites being united with out uniting Oromo elites.

You can't jail and kill your way in to uniting Ethiopia. Mengistu failed.

The disfranchised so called Ethiopia must close Eritrea Embassy and kick out all Eritreans except the refugees and no more relationship with the evil criminals things to come to normal again and resolve things peacefully.

Eden wrote “ you can’t jail and kill your way in to uniting Ethiopia. Mengistu failed.” None is jailed and killed in order to unite Ethiopia. Recently some were jailed because they were responsible for lives lost, properties damaged.
When Ayatollah was working against TPLF, you and the other TPLF cadres accused of him being a terrorist. Now, it is your darling. You need him and his wild followers to revive a dying politics. It is not going to happen, Eden.
Yes, your uncles have raised kids who kill on broad daylight for inane reasons. I admit to re-educate this lost generation takes years. Ethiopia, however, will survive and be more unified. That unification is not decided by Oromo elites as you implied rather by Ethiopians in general.

Go on re-educate according to your world view.
But give same chance to Lemma to teach according to his. Then let the youth decide.

I believe Lemma is a principled politician , but his theory has a flaw. He assumes given time all Oromo politicians embrace the same politics. That is not true. It is not only for Oromos. All Amharas do not share the same politics , and never will they. The Oromos share the same language, but not necessarily the same politics. The Amharas share the same language but not necessarily the same politics. Even in Tigray with around seven million people, there are no political uniformity. Speaking the same language does not lead to uniformity of politics. If it is the world would become the most boring place to live. It is the difference that makes life interesting.

If you (and your boy Abiy) allow him to teach his flawed theory, it gives you a chance to show how yours is better. If you ban his speech from TV and jail others, you lose this chance. That's why Menge failed. That's why Isayas failed.
