We need to democratize the Orthodox Church so that we do not loose it.
The church should liberate itself from anti-Ethiopia elements. The Orthodox Church is Ethiopian and those with anti-Ethiopia agenda should not be allowed to lead. Eritreans are anti-Ethiopia and should not be allowed to lead the church communities at home and in the diaspora.
The Orthodox Church should be bilingual: Amharic and Tigrigna should be used to preach or teach the followers. The Other languages in Ethiopia could chose between Amharic and Tigrigna.
Amhara should learn Tigrigna - this is a wise step for amhara patriots as this helps find the common ground we stand.
All clergy should speak both languages. The Holy Bible should be available in
Amharic and Tigrigna ( is already available).
Geez should be taught in all Sunday schools so that the next generation can use Geez if necessary.
English should be used as working language in Ethiopia. We need to focus on our common heritage. Adding other languages as working languages is simply counterproductive. Amharic can continue as a working language for some time but we need to check that every one is happy with it.
