The people of Tigray should not take part in elections as it is unconstitutional.
TPLF has no right to organize elections without the approval Ethiopia's parliament.
Holding elections is a futile exercise in democracy and a waste of resources.
What TPLF could do is accuse the Election Board of Ethiopia for not facilitating election to take place on time.

But holding elections on regional level is not acceptable by any measures of law.
TPLF should leave the people of Tigray alone. TPLF is using and abusing the people of Tigray for their own power. Tigray people should arrest TPLF cadres and leaders, who are cheating the people and misleading Ethiopians to hold election on regional level defying the central governments set-up as accepted by parliament.

If TPLF wants to overthrow the government, there are many ways, but holding elections is not one of them.

I agree with you on this, but depreporno always does the opposite of what needs to be done and mind you, the so-called opposition parties in Tigray are not different than any power hungry party in Etihopia, and they are the ones who are blackmailing TPLF and the people of Tigray in order to push for election becoz they think this is the only time for them to defeat TPLF and become another corrupt party in Tigray. Debreporno is putting the rope on his own and TPLF's neck.
I bet if another party than TPLF, say salsay, wins the majority vote, TPLF will be living in hell in Tigray, coz the salsay guys are not any better than meshrefet, mengistu, or wedimedhin. The Hayal guy of Salsay is like Mengistu Hailemariam on testosterone. I do not like 90% of the leaders of the opposition in Tigray, I'm not even talking about abrehet desta's Arena, Aregawi's TAND, A'ss'hole-Michael's Bilgina-Tigray, et, which are worse than bilgina party of Meshrefet and co and/or any other neo-nafxania party.

This is beyond election! It is an action not to compromise on the causes over 60000 martyrs were sacrificed. Once we start compromising we will discredit our maryters and Tigray will go back where it was 30 to 45 years ago. Tigray is still underdeveloped but we have experienced hands and educated youth and we can only be effective to rapidly transform TIGRAY if we found our future based on the causes our maryters were sacrificed and the living tegadelties who dedicated their full life.
