Asmara will be renovated (actually already started and it is easy fix-Eritrea's priority so far was developing its rural regions and is almost done) and this Asmara will become the museum city, the kids candy shop and adults Disney world to the next world generations to enjoy.
Remember, what we pledge to do we do. Like destroying dergue, like destroying woyane.
If I was not an Eritrean, I would be honest and admire and praise the WE CAN DO PEOPLE OF ERITREA and emulate these courageous, patriotic and visionary people of Eritrea, instead of envious craps.
The thing is that I am and no matter how many times we proved the world what we are made off, the hasadinet of our doubters will continue until or before the end of 2020.

It is a great idea no need to destroy a historical city like Asmara.

As far as Egypt is concerned, we hope the investors aren't doing all these on Ethiopian expense. The distillation plant is a good start for one; In the following, a patriotic Ethiopian woman tells us that the ordinary Egyptians are even poorer than us but, the outside petro-dollar investors who export food based on Nile river are the problem? The same people may be developing these cities. Meaning, they do all these at our cost and that needs to change.

Eritrea can take a fair cooperative approach in development with Ethiopia by exchanging resources (Power/Port) to the benefit of both countries. No one should feel they're taken advantage of by others in the region as a whole. Transparent business deals is what we need. We aren't intimidated by fancy military hard ware; there're simple effective defense mechanisms to protect our share.

This is a great time to think about the future. Egypt discovered recently huge natural gas fields in the Red Sea and Mediterranean, and got huge credit bump as a result that helps to finance mega projects like these.
Eritrea can do the same with the known resource which is just the tip of the iceberg...natural gas and oil is proven reserves underneath which will be a game changer.

As far as working with countries who respect each other to progress and to work for the benefit or well being of their citizens, that is Eritrea's principle.
