This beautiful city needs more economic development and investment. Bahir Dar is way better then Addis it’s the greatest city in Ethiopia the Amhara Gov must work to bring foreigners investors to make it Golden it also has no ethnic issue being 99.99% Amhara. I believe Amhara GDP should be sent to develop this city for Pure blooded Amharas in Oromia to relocate to.

Garbage TPLF Terrorist. Bahir Dar was barely built properly Amharas pay $14 Billion BIRR in taxes to the federal government EVERY YEAR. We got very little back so fck TPLF. Your dessert Mekele got developed way more then the Jewls of Africa Bahir Dar and Gondar Lalibela Dessie barely got developed. Your regime bankrupted Amhara region. From all development marginalized our people and cause a genocide.

With the billions our people Pay in taxes we could easily become a first class city have modern 1st world cities and nice clean cities in Debre Berhan Debre Markos Dessie Bahir Dar and Gondar but due to corruption our cities are schit thanks to TPLF //EPRDF genocide regime. Now it’s time for amharas to spread this information and to fckkkkk the federal government arssee we want all our money Back to BUILD our FUTURE. I am Eritrean and admit that bahrdar is beautiful city. Did u know that bahrdar means z HOME OF SEA Dar means home in Arabic and Bahr also means Sea or ocean. Get rid of all agames from Amhara killil if u want Amhara developed ASAP!!!

Lalibella is one of the top tourist destination in the country. There is huge income that the tourism industry collects from Lalibella. Looking at the City's current state of condition one asks why the City is finding itself in such backward state of development. The answer is a definitive TPLF's institutionalized crime against the Amhara people and the campaign of robbing their history. The OPDO government has to redress this injustice and let people utilize their fair share of resources for their own development. The moochers have unfairly siphoned all Amhara resources to their Region. Now that the pipe line of looting is cut, the fascists are swimming in depression and desperation.

Exactly, we have been disenfranchised and kept poor by TPLF all our money and resources was sent to build the chigeram Kilil. All the money that was made in amhara region was hijacked into Adwa Axum Mekele shire etc.

Fake Amara, I promote yes, the development of Bahir Dar, but it might be something to do with Meles' grand father being from Gojam? Or why Goje youth controlled Addis with Tplf while the Addis youth were not allowed to gather in their own city? Tplf needed alliance. I think Tplf tricked Bahir Dar for the city, in return for Nile?
