This is a true tragedy, the untimely death of this great Iconic Oromo singer, Hachalu Hundessa. I have no doubt his assassination is a political move by those who are on the losing side. It is a sign of their desperation and attempts to plummet the country into chaos and mayhem by creating a man-made disaster. He rose to prominence by some of his lyrics where he identified the struggle of Oromo people, and in many ways had described the way forward. I remember in one of his lyrics when he said to the effect of,
I don't have to be buried underground to be dead, I could be dead while alive if everything of me is taken from me
This was truly profound and deep, his lyrics were instrumental in mobilizing the Oromo youth to rise up against Zombie Woyane apartheid system against the Oromo people. Although he was a supporter of PM Abyi initially, as time went on, he had shown some distance, especially about two weeks ago. He had made some comments, where he had voiced his disagreement with PM leadership. I think those who have assassinated him, used this time, because, they wanted to create a wedge between the Oromo people and PM as well as the Oromo people and the Amhara people. There is no doubt this killing was performed for cheap political gain, by Zombiw Woyane and those who are hired by them.
Police have already arrested two people in connection with the assassination of Hachalu; hopefully, it will lead them to the main culprits behind this crime. This has to be seen, as a national-level security treat. And PM Abyi needs to take prompt action, against any person or groups that have conspired and acted on assassinating Hacchalu. This assassination has the potential for causing major violence; I hope the good people of Oromo youth especially will be restrained during this difficult time and do not let this tragedy become a cause to bring more destruction and mayhem in the country. Instead, they should use his death as more reason to continue the fight he stood for, which was a democratic and just system for the Oromo people. They are very close to that, but Zombie Woyane and its stooges are in the doorstep trying to take that away from them; hence they must not let that happen. Hopefully, other prominent artists Such as Teddy Afro would need to beef up their security, as Zombi Woyane will stop at nothing to get the Amhara and Oromo on each other's throat.
Finally, this criminal act of woyane has caused yet another loss of life, and left two baby girls without a father, while leaving millions mourning for the loss of their iconic singer. While we are all saddened by this tragic, untimely death, I call on all the Oromo people and the rest of Ethiopia to put their differences aside and bury once, and for all their true enemy: Zombie woyane. Short of that, their misery will only be a number of episode in an ever ending show. May the Good Lord bring peace and comfort to his family and friends and all those who are mourning his loss, during this difficult time.
