Abiy should be going after the mastermind, not after tplf telalakiwoch for a lasting peace. Until the monster tplf is put out off service, there won’t be peace in the country, because they’ll just hire new recruits to do their dirty job.


Abiy’s inaction and lack of decisions to do something with the terrorist organization Tplf is costing life’s and continues unabated. Abiy’s a failed leader and taking the country’s down with him to failure.

Dear Zreal: Why do you say it is too late?

PM Abiy has heard from persons like you that his government is weak and slow, and he stated that it may appear so to those whose expectations were reactions similar to those of previous Etyopiyan regimes, but is not true. PM Abiy tried to explain clearly that his party and government wishes are for the people to enjoy their rights peacefully (i.e. legally); and parallel to that the laws would be enforced as needed or required (with discretion) so that the people use their freedoms to the limits of the law. That should normally go on every time and at all the times.

PM Abiy seems to intend to acculturate democracy among the people and strengthen the Federal Republic of Etyopiya. There is nothing too late about pursuing that huge purpose (which requires decades to achieve) and enforcing the law of the land every day based on appropriate discretion, and aiming towards consolidating peace and furthering socioeconomic development. Please explain.

Furthermore, it is true that one of the fundamental purposes for Government's existence is to guarantee the safety and security of its population. But Government security forces cannot do such activities by themselves. Local communities also need to be organized to protect themselves (i.e. their freedoms and liberties), too. That is a continuous undertaking. The law has to be enforced, communities need to be organized so that freedoms be enjoyed. Nothing too late to do all these things.

The inaction, unbalanced responses for daylight crimes and selective justice by the Government emboldened those who are trying to disintegrate the country. The sympathy for the victims of the past 30 years of TPLF hegemony and the tolerance for dissensions of ideas should never have to be a cause for extremists to come to power again. After 86 individuals have been murdered just because OMN spread false information, all the Government did was blaming the victims and appeasing the instigators. The Jawarians openly claimed that they are the parallel government and have been ardently working to topple the Abiy government. The oblivion by the government has had its limits.It was a matter of time before the collusion comes head on.

In all of these what is puzzling is why the Jawar/Gebissa/Gerba wing of the Oromo power faction do not take in to consideration that the majority of Ethiopians won't just sit idle and let the extremists control the power lever to unleash a genocide the proportion of which might not have been seen in the recorded history. We hear on a daily basis that the Abiy Administration is doing a kind of affirmative action by awarding unearned benefits to its tribal base while at the same time uprooting those who are labeled as Neftegnas from the Capital and everywhere in the Country. Unless justice is to prevail ..and unless TPLF is hold accountable for all of its crimes and theft, the fast descent to abyss will only be nothing but a reality.

The murder of the young Oromo icon, Hachallu Hundessa is one more excuse for the extremists to ruffle the feathers and bring about insurrection for a short cut power grab. We will witness more murders and heinous crimes in the very near future. Decisive leadership by the Government is now a paramount importance.

Where did you put Tplf before spitting querro, it is actually this kind of rhetoric that is destabilizing the country. Hence, achamyeleh hand hachalu rhetoric lead to the demise of hachalu. You are no better

I don’t think Woyane’s intention is to come back to power. Because they have zero chance of doing that given their horrific background and awakening of the mass. What they can only try to do is cling to power in Tigray and continue to terrorize their own people and the neighboring regions and countries. If they indeed want to come back to Arat Kilo, they may as well bring made-to-size caskets with them.

I agree with Selam to a point. There is a zero chance of TPLF coming to power again . But unlike Selam I do not believe they know the glaring truth. I know when it comes to politics, they are bone heads. They exploited in 1991 an opportunity that will never come again, and I do not think the TPLF founders have the brains to know that.
