10 years ago, I called TPLF/ EPLF to devolve concentrated power away from the north to the south. I specifically called for the Tigrigna speaking elite in both countries to give up domination of over 100 Million people and share power to the rest in Ethiopia (and Eritrea).

Today, we see real political activity in the south part of Ethiopia (Eritrea still slow to follow suit and devolve power to lowland)

I expect this forum to reflect this reality and stop from being TPLF/ HGDEF playground as politics has diversified. Diversified in terms of background of participants and in terms of topics discussed. The time for the tigrigna elite to dominate EthioReviewForum and engage in meaningless [deleted] for tat is ending.

Oromia and the Southern have arrived. Great hope for this Horn region!

Sorry, by south, I don't mean Southern region. I mean south as opposed to north. The north (habesha in Eritrea and Ethiopia) has almost always has monopoly power. That's what I'm referring to.

Tigrigna speaking elites were streached out all Ethiopia during TPLF heydays. This led to brain drain away from Tigray. It led to corruption the backlash for which endangered Tigrigna speaking elites/ Tigray. So the south leaders stepping up helps Tigray focus on Tigray and attain better relationship with others.

ጉራጌ ኢትዮጵያ ኢጎሳዊ ፌዴሬሽንት እንድትሆን ይቆማል ። ያ እስከ ሚሆን የራሱ ክልል ይሆናል ። በቃ ይህ ነው ። ሚዛን ማለት ይህ ነው። ይህ ደሞ ሁሉንም የጉራጌ አክቲቪስት የሚያስማማ ነው። ጉራጌ የትግሬም፣ የኦሮሞም፣ ያማራም አጨብጫቢ አይደለም ። ለዚህ ነው በዘር ፖለቲካ ገብቶ ያልተጨማለቀው ።

I think all people, not just ጉራጌ, are exactly like how you described above. They want their own until they feel they are ready. If you listen to various leaders of ethnics based leaders, they want to preserve their own first and then join on the basis of equality. Their fear of being assimilated and dominated is the reason they ask for ክልል. Once they feel the system is civilized enough and won't threaten their heritage, they'll move on just as you described it.

BTW, the guest is taking advantage of media available to him. He knows Ethio 360, ESAT, Sheger Times and many more won't allow him to reach people. He isn't kissing anyone's behind.

I truly don't agree with this groundless elite theory. Honest conversation is a major step toward the solution. f you witness or read from actual human beings. Our history filled by war. War from pagan Querro, OLF, OFECO, Egypt. Italy, Separatist foreign agents, Islamic expansionists before and now, and many many instigators who tried to exaggerate our differences and weaken our unity. The current situation in Ethiopia is no different. Ethiopian territory at times was expanded as far as current-day Somalia, Kenya, and Yemen whenever we had a true nationalistic and Christian leader. At other times like now, we are contracted to our current territories. This the time Ethiopia needs true Amhara leader. Who is not a foreign agent and belive in United Ethiopia, a believer.
Like Atse Tewodros, Atse Menilike Atse Haileselasie and Mengistu who carry carrot and stick. For sure the true leader will soon step up to the plate and lead Ethiopia to its glory. As the Amhara says ሊነጋ ሲል ይጨልማል. this is the situation right now. I believe Abiy is like john the baptist who clears the path for the king ( jesus) to come and it is happening now. Sidama got its province even if it is smaller but will expand. And then we will not have a province based on ethnicity just by geographical or administrative convenience. That means there is no Oromo region.
Then this barbaric Querro and Agame TPLF will not have any ground to stand.
