My reservations regarding the OPDO Vs. TPLF reconciliation effort

The wrong groups are at the table. There should be a table for OPDO, OLF, OFC and others within Oromia. There should be another table for TPLF and HGDEF. And more tables to include major players
I have predicted numerous political events in the region and the new reconciliation won't bear any fruits. Even if the two agree, it means back to dictatorship.

Nothing to do with OPDO, OLF, OFC or any other from Orimia, this is Amhara and Hamassien vs Tigray pure and simple. Abiy does not represent Oromo at all, in fact, he is the number one enemy of Oromo ethnic who is killing them right now as we speak by the Amhara soldiers, paid Oromo soldiers and Shaebia mercenaries.

You reading (and posting) what's in your mind, I'm reading the reality on the ground. If OPDO is looking for stable and prosperous Ethiopia, its first order of business must be reconciliation with it own people / Oromia and eltes within Oromia. Its disregard of Oromia and reconciliation with Eritrea and Tigray/ Ethiopia only shows it's interested in power. It works with outsiders with the purpose of gaining edge in Oromia. That's exactly what Meles did working with Isayas back in the days. Big mistake.

Hiden,
Why any oromo needs to reconcile with Tigray, there is nothing to talk both ethnics are friends and respect each other. The problem makers are the OEM Bologna maids and Amharu against Tigray and these are the one need not to talk but to mind their own business, that is the realty on the ground today.

I agree with the the beautiful Eden's thought. Yes, the hybrid Gobana's dream is to be a king like Minillik and H/Silasse, because he was told by his Neftegna mom. I don't know if his mom has some ties with either of the two kings. Therefore, the guy is to fulfill his mother's dream. That would never ever happens.

You still reading your mind, not what I scribbled. You'll not find here, or anywhere, me saying oromo needs to reconcile with Tigray. I said Abiy, not Oromo. I never dare talk about any people. For me there is never wrong or bad people. Never! Open your mind please and read what is actually stated. What's wrong with folks?!

In this I read only one thing: gabbing power by all means.
Ostensibly that is also precisely what your camps are claiming to fight against, because, you claim, power should come by only a democratic means and fair competition.
The competiting parties are given all the rights and opportunities to get to the field and show what they have and can. When they fail, then they start to do what they have been doing all of their existence (sabotaging every effort to change the country towards a better place).
OPDO /EPP is a political party, crafted its political programs and said I am using it to compete against you and beat you, the inept so called opposition, reacts no, no, you should share that power with us!
But may I ask, on which account and calculations? Is there any precedence somewhere to such kind of a game?
They should be given a lesson of their life, finally, instead of power, I think.
You can't compare Meles' time with the current situation in the country by any measure of an imagination, the parallel two worlds (glass is half full and glass is half empty worlds).

So you are presupposing that it is only the extremists and die-hard tribalism proponents who should define and determine the fate of the country? The differences in the Oromo camp is nothing but who should be sitting at the throne, for all the players assume that they are the only ones who brought the change, if you may call it as such. If you buy in to the Ahadawi VS Federalawi argument that is invented to confuse the gullible, you are only different from Halafi in form not in content.
TPLF and OPDO may have differences in who to play-out to advance their agenda.Otherwise, they both promote their ethnic hegemony as proven by practice. Look at every meaningful power players in Addis and tell me if you see what is projected by the OLF/OFECO expansionists to be true. Jawarians share the same ploy as TPLF ..a simple demonizing of the Amharas to ascend to the power at Minilik palace and deffer the inevitable charade. Alas! the scramble for Power, as funny as it looks, is what is saving the day for another trial if there are those who truly care for the people and the country. The "shimgilina "..is

a simple farce as belittled by the Digitals.

All should participate. ABN should sit with ANDM and others within their region. And on and on. I’m saying this to highlight the hypocrisy of Abiy talking to another region or another country but he kills his regions’ people. He should reconcile with Oromo based groups before he reconciled with groups farther out. What’s wrong with this idea? Same with Isayas. He is hated in all of Eritrea but he dances with Abiy, dance that’s fake
