As I told Halafi earlier, Tigrean "secession" was not the people's past reason for insurgency in Ethiopia as the greedy TPLFites romantics prefer to believe.
What brought the present change was a conflict between two well-heeled establishments: one that depended—economically and spiritually—on the continued exploitation of the rest of Ethiopia by their instruments like EFFORT to enrich themselves and the others like Arena that did not.
Oromo opportunists like Ararsa do not care to distinguish this fact.
Ultimately, the debate over motives for Tigrai state creating its own "election" board etc. trivializes the true shame of TPLF leaders; the past existence of their institutions of exploiting the rest of the country to enrich themselves & cronies and their wish to revive it back if possible today. p2 as a single Ethiopian party has putt the nail on their coffin.
Obscuring the so called "constitution", their rights to do "election" during Covic 19 looming over their head now, threatening to call article 39 if they're not allowed, in hollow romance, is refusing to recognize the true nature and history of TPLFite leaders. It reserving article 39 and now contemplating to call it because it lost central power?
