7,158 Eritrean nationals have returned so far to Eritrea from Ethiopia, Sudan, Yemen, and Djibouti!

After the recent closing of some "concentration" camps and the worsening social, political, and economic situation in Tigray, a number of Eritrean nationals have started to return back to Eritrea in an uncontrolled fashion.
With the reported 7,158 nationals who have returned so far to Eritrea from Ethiopia, Sudan, Yemen and Djibouti through land and sea, the surge in new cases of COVID-19 in the country is so expected. I'm glad the gov't managed to successfully track and quarantine all of them, which is crucial to containing the transmission.
