Seyoum Mesfin and many other TPLF-EPRDF bosses could have their own private property. The property is not necessarily bought by saving their monthly salary. They have taken loans from banks or other institutions as happens in UK, where money lenders provide millions of pounds for property development.

Lady Azeb Mesfin is also not necessarily corrupt.She can own properties worth millions of dollars that does not necessarily mean she has bought these properties from government coffers. Abiy Ahmed or Demeke Makonnen could have properties billions of Birr worth. This does not mean they have taken it from the national coffers until proven otherwise.

Ethiopian government officials can have property or companies of their own. This does not mean they are corrupt.

To me any Ethiopian politician who has become a millionaire is corrupt. Ethiopia is a poor country. Even the most educated, industrious people have a hard time making just a living , forget about becoming a millionaire , which is a pipe dream.

Not all are corrupt! They have to be wealthy if they can. Those who are millionaires are not necessarily corrupt!

Becoming a millionaire is easy if you have a business talent and an opportunity! You should give us evidence that the Ethiopian ministers or officials are corrupt. Generalizing that Ethiopian politicians become rich through corruption is wrong.

You can borrow loans from a bank or another institution and invest it in real state, just like the current president of USA did when he was younger.
