President Debretsion is asking the reopening of the 5 refugee camps in Tigray, where the half a million Tegaru in Yemen had fled from when PM Abiy closed the camps. The half a million Tegaru refugees in Yemen lived in the 5 refugee camps in Tigray for the last 20 years before the closure. If PM Abiy reopens the refugee camps, Dr Debretsion will accept the half a million Tegaru refugees stranded in Yemen and put them in the refugee camps which they call home.
