Last friday, when the representatives of 25 Federalist Parties separated themselves and decided to conduct their conference in Addis Ababa, other representatives of 5 surrogate parties who were on their way to Mekelle were quarantined at Bole International Airport because they were diagnosed with COVID-19 infection. And, the cornered cat in Mekelle is arching its back and meowing.

PROTEST IN TIGRAY

በሽሬ ኣውራጃ ልዪ ስሙ ማይ ሓንሰ በተባለ ቦታ ህዝብ መንገድ ዘግቶ ፀረ ህወሓት ተቃውሞ ሲያሰማ ውሏል:: ወደ ሽሬ የሚወስደው መንገድ ተዘግቶ ውሏል።

These are part of the long-held grievances by the marginalized non-Adwa ተጋሩ, against ደቂ ዓድዋ led TPLF.

If the maladministration, political, economic and social crisis in Tigray continues, these demos may eventually grow into a typical "Down-Down-ወያኔ" protest to end their suffering as 2nd class ተጋሩ.

FACTS

For now, such demonstrations are only signs of the growing discontent in Tigray and it's only a matter of time before the people to rise up and take matters in to their own hands.

But for that to happen, the political situation inside Ethiopia should remain "stable". Besides, more political, economic and development good news should come out of Eritrea as well.

These two scenarios are enough to make Tegaru develop a feeling that they are left behind with no hope to get their situations better ... so long as TPLF rules Tigray.

The fact of the matter is, the relation between Tigray & Eritrea shall remain CLOSED; as long as the criminal TPLF is in Tigray. The same is true, with relation between Tigray and the Federal gov't. That means Tegaru should bring TPLF rule in Tigray to an end first, for their own sake and future.

There is no future for ተጋሩ in Ethiopia, so long as they are ruled by the most wanted ደቂ ዓድዋ led TPLF criminals.

You can slice it, mince it, dice it, or even chop it- The truth is not far from these facts!

Tegaru vs. Djiboutians:

Here Mr. Dereje Bekele the leader of all Federalist Parties which separated themselves from TPLF is speaking in Afaan Oromo, about TPLF's plot and mischief plan with OBN.

Briefly translated into English:

Disagreement on three points:

1. "Our agreement with TPLF was to promote federalism peacefully in Ethiopia, but in the long run we came to realize that TPLF's plan is not for federalism, but to use us as stirrups in order to embark onto the power again"

2. "When all the federalist parties, including TPLF itself, agreed to work together without consulting other 35 federalist parties. The TPLF decided alone, to go vote"

3. "When most of federalist parties agreed to conduct our conference/meeting in Addis Ababa the capital of Ethiopia, TPLF refused and chose Mekelle. And the most worrisome condition is TPLF's daily misbehavior that didn't give us an appropriate space to work with it properly. Therefore, after deeply discussing we the 25 federalist parties leaders signed to work under the existing Ethiopian constitution peacefuly; to promote federalism which is based on peace and prosperity"
