We said before that Jawar Mohammed was issuing bills at every turn of events to the wider public and raises money but we were rediculed.
Now we are told by those who know the inner working of this media outlet better that it has turned itself into a PLC, taking a cover under legal protection of running a private business, while it was touted as a charity organisation before.
Jawar Mohammad's OMN has issued a bill to the people for its"service"
Those who were part of the undertaking are sharing their stories now.

DDT,
As you may remember OMN had a testing time in its first two years after its creation. Since then OMN has achieved a lot in supporting Oromo straggle at home and abroad. OMN now runs with new management and it is up to the management to run the organization as they find it suitable and timely. OMN at the moment is like OLF. It is in the heart of most oromos. If the argument is to say we were pushed out of it, can OMN be where it is if those changes were not made? Obviously those who were involved in establishing OMN, no matter where they are today, did something extremely important that benefited the wider oromo. The oromo people should thank each and everyone of them.

Here again, you are wrong in my view. Something which is in the heart of most Oromos can't fail constantily to achieve the goal it claimed to have pursued all of its over half a century or so history.
It must have missed something right in its acclaimed and pursued goals and an entity which can hope to be in the hearts of most of the people can't fail terminally to achieve the goal it always claimed to pursue.
OMN and any other media organisation will succeed based on what it can contribute to serve the people it claimed to serve as its goal. The discussion in the video I shared above showed clearly that it is on its terminal failure to miss its acclaimed goal and it is only a matter of time before it nears its own graveyard: you can't keep milking the people perpetually without showing something as a result for the sacrifice they paid.
If bringing someone to power should be the goal, then the people would say in due time, no Sir, we have more pressing issues that lie at our hearts than your ambition to power.

DTT,
OMN is not a media established with millions of dollars fund. As you are well aware it is established on the contribution of oromos. The media you linked here is formed to counter OMN and i was not surprised with what was on offer. I am just an ordinary person that happen to follow the oromo issue closely, but still tries to be reasonable.
Experience tells me that you do not need investment to counter one business unless that business is a successful one.
Given the circumstances, OMN is doing well. It has contributed meaningfully and made significant contributions, specially in oromo politics. Every oromo political organisation benefited, including OPDO. It is true the political climate is different today, and so is the focus of OMN. Your opinion and that of mine is the reflection of where we position ourselves on the political spectrum.
