Most probably the Ethio 360 guys were taken as hostages. The Ermias’ narrative is something amazing. Of all the political problem Ethiopia has , he seemed to have believed, the political friendship of Abiy and Isayes is the most worrisome. He claimed Addis Abeba hospitalized many Eritrean security agents . To what purpose? It does not matter to him that he answers his own delusion. Habtamu is not different. It is not far fetched to believe, these guys are serving the political interest of those who pay for their living. The guys seem to be economic hostages.
These two happen to detest ethnic politics. It is a common knowledge that Isayes believes ethnic politics a disaster to Ethiopia. Is it not reasonable for those two to assume Isaye’s political stance will help Ethiopian politicians who conduct national politics ? They know that , and they are not stupid. But those who pay for their living necessarily are not those parties . Who else then ?
