Most Tigrinya and Amharic speakers (native ones) have been attacking and destroying each other for 400 years now. They both work with Foreigners to try to dominate and wipe out each other.
They both have used foreign Superpowers to gain military might and used the most violent and destructive means to subjugate each other.
Both Tigrinya and Amharic speakers have tried to Colonise other ethnic groups in the Horn of Africa but they faced stiff resistance in some cases but as usual they rely on Foreign Superpowers to come and clean up their mess.
The problem in the Horn of Africa is other Ethnic groups who pick up Amharic or Tigrinya as a second language and then try to be more Amhara/Tigrinya than the Native speaker.
The religions that keep these two languages in circulation are well known so I won't mention that. But this religion is no longer strong in the region or globally...
The cultures of the Amharic or Tigrinya speakers is filled with Violence and Betrayal.

In Every part of the world except among arabs and horn africans, war has a purpose and mission, once the purpose and objects of the war are meet, the winner will proclaim himself as a winner and the loser part will accept his defeat and life will continue. In our part of the world, either because of low IQ or for a reason which is beyond me, the war doesn't seem to have a purpose or mission or conclusion. It seems the war is some thing the leader triggar either to incite his subject to rally behind him and misuse nationalistic credentials.
Example, once japan lost the second world war against America. The nation submitted itself to total American control, And the japanese constitution was drafted and implemented by American expertis. In return of American control of japanese foreign and defence matter. The japanese had total access to American
market, finance and know how (expert). And the result is what We are witnessing today. Japan is a power to reckon with, the third biggest economy of the world and If it wants to, it wouldn't take for the country to switch its civilian industry to military and become a military power.
The same option was offered to Iraq and look what the arabs did to their country. Iraq is a country f#$cked beyond repair and There will never be any hope the country will recover.
Even If We go to our own example. When Eritrea was under federation with imperial Ethiopia , the condition to accept the terms were, Eritreans will take care of their domestic affairs while foreign and defense related matters will be taken care by the imperial administration of haile selasie (more or less, the same condition Americans offered the japanese). But what did haile selasie do, he forcebly changed the condition of the federation pact, introduced the amharic language and prohobited the local language to be used in schools and ultimatly and insult to the injury, he incorporated Eritrea to be the 13 province of Ethiopia. People revolted against the decision and their opposition was meet with violence instead of sitting around the table and find solution.
Even the derg, he knew, he could never solve the issue with military means but he kept on till he was forced to flee to Zimbabwe. If he was a far sighted leader, from a strong military position, he could have sat around the table with the EPLF and bring the condition which is favorable to the best national interest of Ethiopia. But he vanished like cigarella's [deleted] while proclaiming We only need the land of Eritrea and not the People.
Even the war against woyane, the pretext of the war changes from time time. once, We were told that the war was against eritrean aggression but once the peace agreement was signed and verdict of the court was announced, all of a sudden, the war was not about border but about economy, security bla bla. Time passed by and future of this generation was squandered and ultimatly There is nothing to show of for the policy you held on and collectivly let alone to be on square One, We are below zero.
The amharic language on which haile selasie and Mengistu tried to impose on Eritreans is on retreat, even the People who grew knowing and accepting the language as One of their own are rejecting it and embracing their own.
And for Tigrians, what is there for the last two decades of tigrians hegemony except tigrians are seen with total contempt by other Ethiopians and they are trying their luck in the Desert between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
The same If not worse with Eritreans.
In conclusion, let me offer you a scandinavian proverb which goes by, relatives are worst than total aliens because they know your sensetive spot, your weakness and your strength and they know where and when to harm you, in the end both of you lose.
