During the last 27 years he was acting as an opposition party member and also leader but secretly working with weyanie earning much money and running his business smoothly, while almost all Ethiopians in business sector in one or another way didn't associated with weyanie and specially participating on politics were out of the game. While we know tplf/shabia hate Amara this by no means is saying Lidetu is playing the vicitm card even though not saying directly as Amara, he is sending that message that I am a hero Amara who stand for Ethiopia, honest, speak like it is etc. such tactics has been used by some politicians past and present to hide their past crime, their tplf alliance, or current agenda and that is to escape their past crimes by presenting themselves as innocent on media. Media has been a hiding place that as long as they defend themselves on media, they are safe. Just because you know how to talk, and know how to play politician does that mean that makes you free from your sin/crime? Weyane is using once again, a dividing card between Lidetu and Dr Berhanu. There is something about Dr Berhanu that Weyane is afraid of that through Lidetu, they come out and attack or Lidetu himself maybe hiding himself. Without defending Dr Berhanu, if he was a bad person, why did people support G7/Esat from the get go? They claim Dr Berhanu was Eprp, but what about Lidetu? How did he become to be politican and suddenly emerged during the hay days of Tplf and election 97? People's media that is speaking out against tplf's crime was Esat until the overthow of Tplf happened. This makes certain segments of secret Weyane supporters as opportunists that they no longer need Esat that Tplf is overthrown and now they started attacking Esat again. They need to be exposed.
