Raya Rayuma (Woldia-Alamata) is around 95% Amhara, with population near 300k everything north of Alamata Are Raya Wannebees like Endertan Wajirats,
The Creation of Alamata Woreda was done by TPLF to colonize Raya-Kobo district through ethnic cleansing etc by Eritrean TPLF

Raya Azebo is part of Tigray. Raya Qobo is part of Wollo or Amhara Region.
Prior to such division by Haile Selassie government,it was all Raya Rayuma.
The majority here speak Tigrigna and have been part of the aksumite empire. The amhara in Raya are also part of the Aksumite Empire - they are aksumite Ethiopians.
Shoa has been also part of Aksumite Empire ( The Church of Washa Michael is built by King Ezana according to some sources).
Amhara and Tigray people have no basic problems. They all live together. oromos also live in Raya so do Afar people. The problem is the governments who divide regions without historical evidence or for revenge as did Haile Selassie.
Tigray has some of it's villages taken away by Menelik and Haile Selassie so that it could be controlled better. For me we should not argue about this. all Ethiopians should live everywhere in Ethiopia and should benefit from fruits of their labor. However we should not disadvantage Tigray. We could oppose TPLF and we should because they are anti-Amhara and anti-Tigray in general. They are awaraja oriented and do not care about the people as long as they fill their bellies.
