Amharic is too primitive to serve Tigrayans as a working language. The Amhara are more or less primitve and inept. They are backward. They have no sense of solidarity with non-Amhara Ethiopians, which make 80% of the population. Menelik, Taitu etc were simple war lords, that cheated the Oromo and Tigray nobility.

Amharic and Amhara culture should not be Ethiopia's identity. Somali, Afar, Wolaita etc have their own beautiful culture. No Amharic language and music!
Non-Amharas feel homeless in their own territory. The Amhara are insensitive even to their own people ( Shoa amhara starved Wollo amhara massively because of power struggle- Iyassu versus Haile Selassie etc)

Amharic is more than a working language in Ethiopia; it's the official language in Ethiopia.

Somali, Afaan Oromo, Afar, and Tigrinya are the working languages in Ethiopia.
