Egypt sends medical aid to U.S. amid Covid-19

CAIRO - 21 April 2020: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi instructed on Tuesday to send medical aid to the United States to confront the Coronavirus pandemic.

The military jets carrying medical equipment, anesthesia drugs and antibiotics as well as body bags, masks and testing swabs.

This comes within the framework of the distinguished relations between Egypt and the United States, as well as the interest of the Egyptian state in supporting friendly countries in facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Tuesday, the United States recorded a significant increase in the number of coronavirus infections as the number of infections with the Coronavirus reached 803.18 thousand, while the number of deaths recorded 43,558 cases, and 75 thousand cases of similar recovery

In 4 April 2020, also upon the directives of President al-Sisi, the Egyptian Armed Forces sent to Italy two military jets carrying medical equipment, protective suits, detergents and sanitizers.

In February, Egypt sent 1 million medical masks to Italy. The Minister of Health Hala Zayed flew to Beijing, China delivering ten tons of medical equipment.

In April 14, Egypt sent a large number of medical gowns to U.K. in assistance to the British government’s efforts in its fight against the spread of Coronavirus.

Even though I strongly suspect that you are confusing aids sent by China as aids sent by the wretched poor Egypt but if true then it may be so that Egypt learned such solidarity gestures from the previous black African Uganda brother leader, Obbo IDI AMIN DAD, who was more than ready to send live animals such as chickens, Hen, eggs, fish, sheep, goats, etc. to the then British government being headed by M.Thatcher, cronically suffering from deep recession. According to the UN 104 thousands mostly political prisoners are languishing in various prisons as we speak. Their only crime is that they oppose dictatorship.

Back to the main point which is the covid-19. Let me tell you this, egypt is hiding a lot itself needs assistance.

I give you an example. In a neighborhood of cairo out of hundreds of neighborhoods in cairo (cairo has over 20 million inhabitants) an angry lady was yelling by crying and saying we lost over 100 people in in my neighborhood because of corona and the government is hiding it where are the world? The next day she was taken by security police and nobody knows her whereabouts. Mind you, egypt claims publicly that it has lost only 340 to this-date.
