U.S. President Donald Trump criticizes the World Health Organization during a press briefing on Tuesday, saying the U.S. is putting a “very powerful hold” on money sent to the group amid the COVID19 pandemic. Without US funding, the WHO is broke and useless. In order for the WHO to get its funding back, it has to expedite the resignation of its Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

Well....there is no free lunch. US' contribution isn't charity either.
It's comical to see some Agame cadres on the social media invoking African solidarity to nudge us to stand behind their inept official. How soon did they forget that during their 27 years reign in Ethiopia they were at the forefront serving tirelessly the same powers who are accusing their guy now?

Well, it should have been very clear to everyone when the public interview to select the WHO president was aired 3 years ago. Out of the last 5 runner ups, he was the least qualified candidate to get the job. During the interview, he did not even understood a simple and clear questions from the interviewers. It seems at point, the three interviewers were discussing whether to call interpreter for him or not. They clearly knew the guy was very incompetent for the big job but decided to select him anyway due to African countries pressure on WHO to select one of their own. Now, the world is paying big price for their negligence. The guy can't even be qualified to became WHO chair's driver
