So why is your boss dead scared of auditing as recommended by the likes of Berhane Abrehe? Why is there no annual national budget for 29 years? Why appoint a well-known fraudster like Hagos Kisha to head the economic affairs of the ruling PFDJ?

Eritrea was growing by 6-8% yearly, b/n 1993-98. How did the IMF, the world bank and others come to that conclusion?

After the war, of course, things changed. The economy stagnated. That, in combination with the PFDJ's culture of secrecy created that silence. The ministers, amongst themselves, surely know.
