Somalilands intelligence and security chief is assassinated

Post by Mahlana » 17 Mar 2020, 09:02

Who is behind the recent rampant attacks in East Africa leaders?

The Sudanese prime minister survived an assassination attack in Khartoum recently. And now this?
Please wait, video is loading...

Just FYI: Somaliland recently refused a visit by Abiy and Farmajo.

He wasn't the intelligence and security chief of Somaliland, but the intelligence chief of a region that Somaliland claims to be part of its administration. In this region, most of the population are against Somaliland's secessionist project and have been resisting against any participation in it. I believe his death is the work of the local resistance, since he was appointed by the secessionist administration.

I think it's alshabaab lasanod has been peace and quiet for years now. Perhaps more troops and security should be deployed there.

Zack,

Al Shabab has never been present in Las Anod or anywhere close to it. Instead, fierce argument and fight between Somaliland administration and its local supporters on one side and the local resistance on the other side have always existed in this city since the collapse of the central government in Somalia.
