Read this interesting article about water sharing disputes around the world. The main takeaway for me:
- There is no global agreement on sharing international rivers.
- Many other upstream countries have built dams without a consent from downstream countries.
- US has objected International water sharing treaties and built 15 dams on the Colorado River and diverted the flow hundreds of miles, leaving Mexico with a dry delta. Hypocritical bigots!
So, let’s finish the dam.
