Meshrefet is destroying Oromos and Oromia in order to facilitate Egypt's victory over Ethiopia.

Otherwise Meshrefet fears Egypt will kill him if he renegs on his "Welahi" oath of promise that he gave to his first arab so'domizer ayte Alsisi of xahira. The rest is history!
