Tigray was a part of Ethiopia and was always free.
There were never dergue troops in tigray. There were over 200 thousand dergue troops and all their armaments were in Eritrea, and Shaebia confiscated all of the armaments and actually had more arms than Ethiopia due to that event at that time and it paraded them in Asmara to let the world know, to not mess with Eritrea. And also captured over 50 thousand terserawits, treated them humanely and repatriated them to their country. Facts.
