Yes, that is very true many dams have been built by our Warsay Yikealo programs. Now, this is not counting the existing diga Sembel, May nefHi, Beleza, Adi shieka.
After independence, here is a list of the major once that were built, again by Eritrean sweat and know how:

all Eritrean are stupid dumb or what kind of dam they r talking .. not all dam are equal Ethiopian dam called hydro dam big different then reservoir dam... hydro dam u can generate hydro or power but dam only keep the water as the name suggested reservoir dam. in Ethiopia we have a lot of reservoir dam and water channel 100 km length only one sugar project have their own reservoir dam.. community have reservoir dam they r in 1000 of them .. so please please dont compere your small dam with our hydro dam.. even one hydro dam that generate only 300mw not big enough we r building 20 time the size of one 300 mw dam ... u r not talking about Amhara u r talking about golden rule that ended two years ago.. so dont embarrass yourself by showing your ኩሬ

Ethoash if I had a chance I would tie you Upside down and cook you alive for the dogs to eat it will generate income for the homeless dogs in Addis Ababa and will turn into a commodity that people can buy from market for there dog and help the economy grow by 9% margin under Satan atta kifu Shimalagey

DAM Constructions, Road Constructions and Housing Constructions would have been achieved more efficiently and built professionally by allowing Eritrean Private Construction Companies that existed right after Independence to bid for the projects.
In Eritrea the dictator Isayas controls everything - he is an Engineer, a Teacher, an Economist, a Doctor, a Farmer (some of his cadres/trolls call him ዓቄታይ in reference to a Peasant). He is everything and he is everywhere.
No one knows how much Capital (Money+man hours) spent to build these Dams. No Accountability. Remember the Massawa Airport Project.
The government's job should be to Institute Right Policies and Implement them transparently to prevent corruption; not with Stalin Like leadership of Isayas.
