The "jirra ... jirtu" guy was heard recently saying that he is "highly strategist" on a certain video interview I heard somewhere on the internet.

I thought after hearing such a claim, if he is indeed that strategist, then why is he gathering thousands of young and mostly delusioned folks and simply slogan and go home after probably collecting some money from them in order to "liberate" them? A strategist must make some policy statements, show what he is specifically trying to achieve at the end of the day, highlight what makes him different from the others that are already on the scene and similar things. We don't see any sort of such messages that comes out of him while addressing the crowd of thousands of people. His own definition of strategist might be different, I guess.


Yesterday I saw another video of the gathering of Caffee Oromiyaa (Oromia's regional parliament) where they was deliberating on some issues and I saw that one of this deliberation was passed with all the votes, without any opposition or abstention (I think it was about the election of the members of the Board of the OBN). That reflected on how the deliberative body was still not independent in my view, according to my own impression.

Today the "Jirra...Jirtu" guy picked the good opportunity and rushed to his avenue, the Facebook, attacked the regional council on its lack of competence and claimed after his own takeover of the body, any member who will be not representing his respective constituencies well will be sent back (or will be called back). I am not sure how that will work short of the end of the legislative period of the representatives. Dictator Janjoo is going to send them back home on his own terms (according to his highly stratigist skill).

But I think he is good at spotting the weak area of his adversaries and immediately start to exploit on that. Chaffe Oromiyaa should have known e of this and if I as an external observer have noticed that then there is no excuse for them to fail taking the same notice.
