There is an arrest warrant being issues to bring Issayas Afeworki, a self-appointed president of Eritrea, a former district of Tigray Regional State, North Ethiopia. The 16th District Court of Mekelle asks Tigray Police to bring Issay Afeworki to defend himself against charges related to crimes against humanity.
Issayas Afeworqi's crimes are enumerated;
1) Bombing about 40 children at a Nursery, in Ayder, Mekelle
2) Hijacking and taking hostage young Tigrayans in the cover of night in the district of Agamme
3) Taking hostage of an English woman who was a tourist in Tigray and Afar Region
4) Killing an Israeli female student who was visiting Arte Ale, Afar Region of Ethiopia
4) Training armed Ethiopian groups to overthrow the government of Ethiopia as the result of which thousands have been killed and about 3 million people displaced.
