The earliest written example of Tigrinya text was produced in local laws in the district of Logosarda, Debub Region in Southern Eritrea, dating back to the 13th century. In Eritrea, during the British administration, the Ministry of Information put out a weekly newspaper in Tigrinya that cost 5 cents and sold 5,000 copies weekly. At the time, it was reported to be the first of its kind.

U c, i am cool with what u said, which was z language of tigrinya was invented in Eritrea, but not in zoba debub. BTW, DUBARUBA IS IN CENTRAL ERITREA. The first Holy Bible was written in Tigrinya was a translation of the Four Gospels by Eritrean. It was written in the 1830s and was published in 1866. The Tigrinya title is ወንጌል ቅዱስ ናይ ጎይታና ናይ ምድሓኒናን የሱስ ክርስቶስ. This work is of major significance, because it marks the first appearance of the Tigrinya language in book form as well as in a full Ge’ez script.

in modern times Tigrigna was written in 1866 by Adwan from Yeha H. Abiye-ezgi., who later lived in Seraye during the Italian occupation of Midribahri. You are trying to steal Tigrean history coz he lived in Seraye. Wedishermuta, wahaXi Zoboy, adebire Kirewaka tedaloweley.
