Abiy Ahmed is using Eritreans to weaken Ethiopian patriotism. The Eritreans are controlling the Ethiopian Churches by allying with Amhara and alienating non-Amhara Ethiopians. There are rumors that some Eritreans from Shaebya are controlling the patriarch inner circles.
Ethiopians should try to deport Eritreans from Ethiopia and strengthen Ethiopian nationalism. Eritreans who have killed Ethiopians should be arrested and brought to justice. Ethiopia should rather co-operate with neighboring Sudan and Somali and Djibouti.
Ethiopia should delimit the boundary between Ethiopia and Eritrea, where Ethiopia takes the South Mereb Region according to the Wuchale Treaty. Ethiopia does not need Eritrea.
