Ato Lencho says: he can bring Oromo and Amhara parties together and make them work together. It seems to me that he has worked the most part of his life towards separating them, creating and maintaining a LF (to liberate one from the other) and now he came back and said "I will bring them together and make them work together", at his very late age.

The so called ethnic federalism has successfully created separate enclaves for "each" ethnic group in the country. Even professional associations, like sports clubs, government offices and any kind of public and social entity has now been successfully divided into the respective enclave.
Ethiopian university students can no more be safe to go to a university in a different kilil and be sure to come back home safe any more, unfortunately. University president position of the universities in the different kilils will only be available to the locals, no one else from a different kilil, irrespective of his/her qualification for the job. Government offices and public services are occupied according to the pre-set quota of the different kilils, not according to the required qualification of the position. The list is very long, but trying to ignore this glaring fact can only bring down the nation to its knees. Ethiopia is in danger, I am afraid.
Lencho Leta trying to solve Ethiopia problem and at the same time demanding that if his kilil-based federalism doesn't exist, then Ethiopia will not exist could be very dangerous signal, I am afraid.

Re: I hav the key to solve the long standing "empire" problem in Ethiopia: Lencho Leta of OLF
Academic grades are granted based on where the student comes from and no more according to the merit of the grantee in the subject matter. Hiring to fill-in vacancies in the different government organisations are supposed to reflect the ethnic ratios in the country, not how good the potential candidate may satisfy the requirement of the position in terms of his/her qualification, the list is simply very long. We are in essence now in a primitive society, not in a market society of the 21 century.
An Oromo student can go to an American, canadian, english, german, Chinese or any other universities abroad and hope to come back home safe, but no more sure to come back safe from a university in the Amhara kilil. The same is true, of course, for an Amhara student. This must be a curse of the millenia, I am afraid. The sooner you dismantle this ethnic enclave in the country, the better the future of Ethiopia will be.

Defend,
There is nothing wrong in learning at the "very late age".
Let Lencho start talking with Ledetu, the most refined politician out there then, I beg!
Can he handle that?
Very critical views in the following regarding "hiring" :DefendTheTruth wrote: [[..Hiring to fill-in vacancies in the different government organisations are supposed to reflect the ethnic ratios in the country, not how good the potential candidate may satisfy the requirement of the position in terms of his/her qualification, the list is simply very long. OLF and peaceful politics have always been parallel and will remain so forever.

Lidetu is coming hard since the fall of Tplf because he talks/loves to talk so much to convince others, you can tell he has anexiety, could it be he is trying to mask/distract what happened during kinijit times?
Re: I hav the key to solve the long standing "empire" problem in Ethiopia: Lencho Leta of OLF
tlel,
My take is, he has grown, did all the research necessary/required, acquired several degrees (not by distance learning either!). Practically became an Expert in Ethiopian politics second to none. Personally, single (price he paid as an Ethiopian politician) very organized, disciplined and vegetarian at that! Can you imagine that? (ቅቤና ስጋ ቤቱ የማያስገባ!) I tell you, he is not a typical dude. Same with Dr. Abiy as well I guess. I am talking of what I picked by distance from media; never met the guy or anything.
He is a trend setter in Ethiopian politics today.
He coined the constitution as being not a "Federation" but, "Confederation"! No one can challenge that; now, it has become household knowledge among most Ethiopian politicians.
He started defining what the Walelign/National question piece of paper was based on? That is what OLF/TPLF based them selves on! Shallow peace of paper of a 24 year old with no knowledge of Ethiopia proper! Ethiopian Student Movement ideology was very shallow is now a common knowledge among Ethiopians.
That is why I beg Ato Lencho Leta who has gotten mild these days, for the possibility of debating with Lidetu? It shall take the country a long way.
I for one, as you see is impressed with Lidetu's political views. He has depth in all critical issues that divide Ethiopian politicians; a bold professional politician not afraid to speak, a class by himself to the point others may get intimidated by his presence. The good thing is, he is confident without being cocky!
Dr. Berhanu is another one, a class by himself; we know the two seem "እሳትና ጭድ" but, I see things has calmed down between them these days and are expected to resolve their differences before long.
Cheers!

Dawi,
I see that you are a wise person. You are not persuaded by groupies. The issue of Ethiopia is not one size fit all it had started 60 some years ago and believe it or not those who set organizations lie Eprp, Shabia, Jebha olf, tplf etc are/were out in open. There were those Teletafis/or working under but you never know their name and if you dare to criticize then you are knocked down. For example, I will never believe it is ONLY the student movement that brought down the good Ethiopia's kingdom, some must have waited the right moment until H/selassie was senile to blame him for Ethiopia's ill. There were many working within his leadership who brought him down as well. But then as long as these are within groupies they are untouchable. What about Dej Tesema Kebede and his son? And now, they quickly rush to be pro Ethiopian because they know which direction the country is heading and they don't want to feel guilty and so that they want to become a hero again they saved Ethiopia. Don't get me wrong, Ethiopia would have been in the best position if those of Mengistu/Derg/ EPRP who call themselves Ethiopians come out in open and appologize so that we can learn from forgiveness and move forward. Even I am for for those who were in TPLF to come forward appologize and it is them who can change direction for Tigray and Ethiopia, because they have held power and they know the issue of Ethiopia and her foreign policies. Many also who worked withn H/selassie regime for sure had direct connection with those of organizations I mentioned above. All I am saying is those who want to become heroes today have been in closet. While I support Lidetu in my own way but then he never went out and criticize tplf after he abdicated Kinijit and I am sure the secret lies between him and Kinijit parties. The groupies want to make this about ethnicity and compare Berhanu with Lidetu when they both have their own way to fight for Ethiopia. I have yet to see many of those who call themselves Ethiopians to come out and campaign for unity instead of dividing the society! In fact I have more issues with them than those who came out being anti Ethiopian, at least we know it is clear what ther agenda is and you can fight accordingly and those who are under closet are rather more dangerous to me and for years they have been sitting idle and watching those anti Ethiopians bloom finally and wanted to come out heroes with their groupies.

Tiltile,
Dambi nesh inde?
Like I said before go and solve the local problem of your own area before aspiring to tackle a national or regional issue. Luuche was also claiming after allowed to enter back the country to have a key to solve Ethio-Eritrea problem. He was wishing to have the ambassadorial position back then but his hope was dashed and now claiming to have a key to resolve the country's problem which he has been actively fomenting the whole of his adulthood life.
If he is given the position he can solve anything, that is his message.
Dembi hedo iziya yelewun chigir yekref, mekeraw, sela ine mechenak teteh.
