Eritrean and Italian archaeologists are in the process of Archaeological Excavation & Conservation, in Adulis .The site lies half an hour drive from foro towards the sea, and 40km south of Massawa.

I was pleased to welcome the UK’s Red Sea and Horn of Africa Envoy to Asmara, this week. We had good talks with the government, as well as an interesting visit to Massawa to see the port. I hope to see more U.K. trade coming through here, in future.
