There is no conspiracy, ato Jawar. To engage in Ethiopian politics, one has to have an Ethiopian citizenship as I have. I have lived in US for thirty years, but chose to keep my Ethiopian citizenship. I read today Birtukan also chose to keep her Ethiopian citizenship while living in USA. I love her for that. Those of us who grew up in Addis have a hard time replacing Ethiopian citizenship with any other citizenship. And also we grew up in a city where Christians and moslems have lived happily together.
