Why does Abiy Ahimed gvt refuse to call OLF by its name when announcing "it's been demolished"?

Abiy Ahimed must have ulterior motives. Why else address it as a nameless "armed group that has been demolished and reduced to groups of bandits (ሽፍታ)"?

You know that the two OLF organizations are registered to compete on the coming election--- you can't call all mutated gunslingers olf because they call themselves as such. That may be revelations to you --buddy.

And he also thinks we forgot he has put a percentage of OLF returnees in the police and army. Are they bandits now? Surely, they're still OLFites!
