The Neftegna army organized by NAMA (ABN) and ADP opened war on Oromo in Dire Dawa. The attackers ignited the war by attacking the building hosting OMN and OFC offices and burning the property of Oromos. They also marked the walls, buildings, cars and water tankers and other items with Nazy symbols (wrong cross) to provoke Muslims and attract them to join the war. We don't yet know response of the victims.

Dire-Dawa, although federal city, is in Shinile zone of Somali regional state.
Oromo have no say as per the current setup.
Oromo claims on the city is funny. The city belongs to the Oromo as much as it belongs to the rest of Ethiopians, east-west North-south.
Oromo owns the entire Ethiopia as the rest of the people do.

You land in shinle zone to get to the city. Not Oromo region. I think the Somali are gonna say welcome Oromo, don’t panic brothers

Dire Dawa doesn't belong to Oromo, It belongs to Somalis and the vast majority (sixty-five percent) of Dire Dawa inhabitants is Somalis, they were the first to settle in Dire Dawa long before Oromo immigrants arrived, Dire Dawa was founded by Somalis and was named Dire Dhabe in Somali language, It's a historical fact.
