Menelik II didn't wage war against Kebessa Eritreans or any Eritreans.
Haile Selassie waged war against Eritreans
Mengistu waged war against Eritreans
Meles waged war against Eritreans
So far Abiy appears to want peace with Eritreans
If you look at the longevity of the leaders:
1. Yohanis (head chopped in Sudan, waging wars against Sudanese Mahdis)
2. Menelik II (survived and repelled Italian Colonisation consolidated the Ethiopian empire, brought modernity to Ethiopia for generations to come, yes he committed human right crimes against Ethiopians)
3. Haile Selassie (survived Italian colonisation, brought modernity but as soon as he waged war against Eritreans he was overthrown)
4. Mengistu had a chance to change things but even his dumb Konso Shankalla arse decided to continue waging war against Eritreans, he got overthrown made to flea with his soviet russian [deleted] stuck up his arse and fled to Zimbabwe where he su.cks the dcks of Mugabe and now the Current Leader of that country...)
5. Meles had a chance to change things but his dumb arse waged a war against Eritrea to save himself from factions within TPLF and EPRDF and the Ethiopian majority thinking "winning a war against Eritrea" would somehow make him popular...did the opposite..and after su.cking so much US/UK White dcks, he was Assassinated by the West for not completing the tasks assigned to him with Eritrea"
6. PM Abiy, we are all watching you .... make the right decisions to change things otherwise you will become history like the fools in the list here except Menelik II, a Successful Ethiopian leader!
If Menelik II was able to have access to the Sea while working with the Italians for all of his reign without having too much trouble within his empire and with the outside world....the start of the trouble for any Ethiopian leader is believing they are invcinble.
Take Isayas Afwrki, an Ethiopian by ethnicity and nationality as he is directly an immigrant from Gondar and Tigray and has no ethnic roots in Eritrea. This fool has been using ERitreans and Eritrean-looking Ethiopians like Schitmeselo, Cigar, Fedup, etc to do his dirty work of silencing Legitimate Eritreans ...but that is no more...all of these Cadres are going to be found and tried by real Eritreans in a Constitutional Law and Order Eritrea where they will be sentenced appropriately!
