Now the PM has pledged that half of the proceedings from the sale of the same book that was burnt down on the streets (by those "caring" more for the people) will be used to build a Cultural Center of the Borana People.
Those who claimed to care more for the people in whose name they were acting must now show that it is they indeed who cares more for them than the PM and show us what they are going to pledge to backup their words with actions.
Everything has got priority, at least in my view. And the most important issue for the people today is that they can feed themselves well and be able to tend to their other needs, like social, cultural and some other psycological needs. You can't start to take care of your mind needs before your stomach is no more empty. I have been recently to the country and saw with my own eyes the level of poverty in the country. People are struggling to make it to the next day, very sad.
There are those who are telling us that the Oromo people needed to be free from an Oromo rule over the country and every effort should be directed at removing the government in power today should be the top priority.
They don't like to hear the truth and the truth hurts sometimes.
