No to Prosperity Party, Yes to More Autonomy: TPLF

TPLF-conf.January 6, 2020 (Ezega.com) -- In a defiant move, the Tigray Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF) has decided that it will not join the Prosperity Party (PP) at the end of its extraordinary conference held over the weekend. According to several videos released, the tone of the just concluded conference was that of anger and defiance directed against central forces.

In a resolution issued on Sunday, TPLF said the merger with the PP is impractical owing to differences and opposing political outlooks and visions between the two parties.

In the extraordinary conference held for the first time in its 45-year history, the TPLF said its relations with the federal government will remain intact but will be executed based on the law of the country and that of the constitution.

TPLF in its eight-point resolution also said it will claim its share of properties of the recently demised Ethiopian Peoples Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF), a coalition of regional parties that ruled the nation for 27 years.

EPRDF was established 30 years ago as a coalition of four standing political parties formed along ethnic lines, namely the TPLF, Amhara Democratic Party (ADP), Oromo Democratic Party (ODP), and the Southern Ethiopian Peoples Democratic Movement (SEPDM).

In the long-awaited decision, TPLF said its executive members shall remain in their position. According to videos shown to the public, the party’s executive members were praised for making such difficult decisions regarding the EPRDF and the federal government in Addis Ababa.

TPLF warned any possible intervention from the federal government over issues affecting Tigray regional state will be met harshly.

TPLF will take legal action against any attempt trying to disrupt the unity of the Tigrayan people and peace in the regional state,

The party also has given full mandate to its central committee to follow and supervise the complete implementation of the resolutions passed in the extraordinary conference.

Speaking on the occasion, the chair of the party, Debertsion Gebermichael, described the decision by the central government to disband the EPRDF as “undemocratic” and in ”violation” of the principles of EPRDF and the law of the country.

TPLF has also decided to establish a strategic alliance with 'federalist forces' in the form of a forum, coalition or a front for a common goal. According to some reports, the TPLF has been looking for potential partners to form some sort of alliance of federalist forces to challenge the Prosperity Party and other national parties. Recently the organization held a second national consultative forum under the theme "Rescuing the Constitution and Federal System," December 3-4, 2019, in Mekele city. However, given its tarnished name in the rest of Ethiopia, it is unclear if the TPLF will manage to build a credible alliance worthy of any power in Ethiopia.

The government and political party as well as the government and religion are mixed up creating serious problems in the country. In short, after the last meeting of EPRDF, the country has reached the verge of crumbling,

Throughout the nearly 30-year rule of the EPRDF, Ethiopia never saw the separation of party from state. The two have been one and the same, earning the government the name "authoritarian" by world bodies. The absence of checks and balances between the executive, judiciary and the military sent thousands of people into exile and/or prison, and ultimately resulted in the demise of the EPRDF.

ምስዚ ትማሊ ህወሓት ዘዉጽኣቶ መግለጽን ፖለቲካዊ ዉሳኔን ተኣሳሲሩ፣ ወለንታዊ ምግላል ህወሓት ካብ ኩሉ ዓይነት ፖለቲካዊ ንጥፈታት ኢህወደግ (ሕጂ ሰልፊ ብልጽግና ተባሂሉ ዘሎ)፣ ፖለቲካዊ ጭዋዳ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ብቕልጡፍ ናብ ምንቁልቋል ዝዓይነቱ ዉጽኢት ሒዙ ክመጽእ'ዩ ዝብል ትንታነታት (likely scenarios) ገለ-ገለ ሰባት ኣሎ። ስለዚ ካብዚ ኣመለኻኽታ ተበጊስና፣ ንሕና'ዉን ኣብ 2020 ኣብ ትግራይ ክረኣዩ ይኽእሉ'ዮም ዝበልናዮም ሰናሪዮታት እንሆ ነጥቢ ብነጥቢ ኣቐሚጥናዮም፣ ጆባእ።

ሽሕ'ኳ ረብሓታት ህዝቢ ትግራይ ኣብ ምሕላው ዝነበራ ድሌትን ተበግሶን ላሕሊሑ እንተጸንሐ፣ ህወሓት፣ ንዝሓለፉ 28 ዓመታት፣ ብተዛማዲ ድምጺ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ኣብ ዉሽጢ ኢህወደግ ኣውሒሳ'ያ ጸኒሓ እንተተባህለ ምግናን ኣይኮነን። ምናልባት'ዉን ካብዚ ሕልፍ ብዝበለ፣ ብመጠን ቑጽሪ ህዝቢ ክምዘን እንከሎ፣ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ዝለዓለ ፖለቲካዉን ቑጠባዉን ግንዖ ሒዙ ምጽንሑ ክሰሓት ዝከኣል ኣይኮነን። እዚ ማለት፣ 7% ካብ ቑጽሪ ህዝቢ ኢትዮጲያ ዘለዎ ህዝቢ፣ ዝለዓለ ፖለቲካዉን ቑጠባዉን ሚዛን ክዉንን፣ ብዝኾነ ልቦናዊ ኣተሓሳስባ ክወራረድ ኣዝዩ ስለ ዘጸግም። ስለዚ፣ ምሹጓጥ (ምኽርዳን) ህወሓት ኣብ መቐለን ምግላል ካብ ኩሉ ዓይነት ፖለቲካዊ ሱታፌን፣ ኣብ ልዕሊ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ርኡይ ዝኾነ ፖለቲካዉን ቑጠባዉን ሳዕቤን ከኸትል ይኽእል'ዩ ዝብል መደምደምታ ዘይሚዛናዊ'ዩ ክንብል የጸግመና።

ካብቲ ህወሓት ሒዛቶ ወጺኣ ዘላ ፖለቲካዊ ቑመና፣ ብሓፈሻዊ ኣዘራርባ፣ ህወሓት ንኽልል ትግራይ ናይ ምግላል መስርሕ ብሰፊሑ ክቕጽሎ ወሲኑ'ሎ። በዚ ምኽንያት'ዩ እምበኣር፣ ብመሰረት ህወሓት ወሲዳቶ ዘላ ፖለቲካዊ ኣቕዋም፣ ርክብ ክልላዊ መንግስቲ ትግራይን ፈደራላዊ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያን፣ ብቕልጡፍ ካብ ሓርፋፍ ናብ ጎነጻዊ ክቕየር ዘሎ ተኽእሎ ቐሊል ኣይኮነን ናብ ዝብል መደምደምታ ክንከይድ ዝግድደና። ምኽንያቱ፣ ሕገ-መንግስታዊ ኣተገባብራ ሃገረ ኢትዮጲያ፣ ናይ ክልተ ተጻረርቲ ሓይልታት ምርድዳእን ፖለቲካዊ ሓድነትን ስለ ዝጠልብ። ኣብ ትግራይ ዝርከብ ክልላዊ መንግስቲ ምስቲ ኣብ ኣራት ኪሎ ዝርከብ ፈደራላዊ መንግስቲ፣ ፖለቲካዊ ሓድነት ምስ ዘይህልዎ፣ ኣብ መንጎኦን ርኡይ ዝኾነ ናይ ምፍሕፋሕ መንፈስ ክረኣይ ልዑል ተኽእሎ ኣሎ። እንታይ ዓይነት ምፍሕፋሕ'ዩ ከም ክስተት ክረኣይ ኣብ ዝብል ሕቶ'ግን ኣብቲ መድረኽ ዝሙርኮስ ይኸዉን። ከም ኣብነት፣ እቲ ብዶክተር ኣብይ ኣሕመድ ዝምራሕ ሰልፊ ብልጽግና፣ ኣብዘን ዝመጻ ዉሑዳት ኣዋርሕ፣ ምብርዓን ዓንቀጽ 39 ኣብ ዝብል ኣጀንዳ ክጋባእ እንተወሲኑ፣ እሞ'ድማ እቲ ዉሳኔ ኣብ ዉሽጢ'ቲ ሰልፊ ኣብ ዝግበር ዘተን ድርድርን ዝሙርኮስ ብምዃኑ፣ ሱታፌ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ብኸመይ'ዩ ክረጋገጽ፧ ብኻልእ ኣዘራርባ፣ ድምጺ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ኣይክስማዕን'ዩ ኢና እንብል ዘሎና። ስለዚ፣ እቲ ሕጊ ምስ ጸደቐ፣ ኣብ ኣተገባብራ ንኹላተን ክልላት ብማዕረ ዝምልከት ካብ ኮነ፣ ህወሓት፣ ከም ክልላዊ መንግስቲ ነዚ ሕጊ'ዚ ብኸመይ'ያ ክትቕበሎ፧ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ድምጸይ ኣይተሰምዕን ኣብ ዝብለሉ እዋን'ከ መን'ዩ ተሓታቲ ክኸዉን፧ ፈደራላዊ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያ ወይስ ክልላዊ መንግስቲ ትግራይ፧

ኣብ 2020 ክረኣዩ ትጽቢት ክንገብረሎም እንኽእል ሰናርዮታት፥

1) ህወሓት፣ ምስ ካልኦት ፖለቲካዉያን ሓይልታት ፖለቲካዊ ሓድነት መስሪሑ፣ ፖለቲካዊ ኣጀንዳታቱ ዕዉት ክገብር ዘሎ ተኽእሎ ኣዝዩ ጸቢብ ብምዃኑ፣ ትግራይ ናብ ናይ ልኡላዊት ግዝኣት ንምቕያራ ብሰፊሑ ክሰርሕ ትጽቢት ይግበር። እንተኾነ፣ እዚ ኣጀንዳ'ዚ፣ ህወሓት፣ ምስ ፈደራላዊ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያ፣ ኣብ ፍጹም ረጽሚ ከእትዎ ዘሎ ተኽእሎ ልዑል ብምዃኑ፣ ህወሓት፣ ዘገምታዊ ኣካይዳ ክትጥቀም ትጽቢት ክግበር ይከኣል። በዚ ኮይኑ በቲ'ግን፣ ኣብ 2020 ፍጥጥ ፈደራላዊ መንግስትን ህወሓትን ብዝያዳ ክዓቢ'ዩ። ኩናት ከኸትል ይኽእል'ዶ ኣብ ዝብል ሕቶ'ግን፣ ሕጂ'ዉን ኣብቲ መድረኽን ኣብ ዉሳኔታት ህወሓትን ዝሙርኮስ ይኸዉን።

2) ህወሓት፣ ዓወታት እቲ እትጻወቶ ዘላ ኩሉ ዓይነት ስትራተጂካዊ ጸወትኣ፣ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘሎ ህሉው ኩነታት ከም ዝሙርኮስ ኣዳዕዲዓ እትፈልጥ ብሙዃና፣ ኣብዘን ዝመጻ ዉሑዳት ኣዋርሕ፣ ኣንጻር ኤርትራ ከተካይዶ ዝጸንሐት ኩሉ መዳያዊ ናይ ተጻባኢ መንፈስ፣ ብሰፊሑ ክትቕጽሎን ብመጠንን ዓቐንን'ዉን ከተግፍሖን ክንጽበ ንኽእል። እዚ ኣካይዳ'ዚ፣ እንታይ ዓይነት ግብረ መልሲ'ዩ ካብ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ክወሃቦ ኣብ ዝብል ሕቶ'ግን፣ ኣብ ዓቐንን ስፍሓትን ናይቲ ህወሓት እትገብሮ ምንቅስቓስ ከም ዝሙርኮስ ምፍላጥ ኣገዳሲ'ዩ።

3) ኣብ ዉሽጢ ትግራይ ክረኣይ ዝጸንሐ ፖለቲካዉን ቑጠባዉን ጸቕጥታት ክዛይድን ኣብ ዉሽጢ ሕብረተሰብ ትግራይ ከቢድን ወጣርን ኩነታት ክፍጠርን'ዩ። ኣብ ዉሽጢ ትግራይ ዝጸንሐ ክብደት መነባብሮ ብዕጽፊ ክዛይድ ልዑል ተኽእሎ'ሎ። እዚ'ድማ ነቲ ህወሓት ክኸዶ ወሲኑ ዝርከብ ነዊሕ ፖለቲካዊ ጸወታ ዕንቅፋት ክፈጥረሉን ኣብ መወዳእታ'ድማ ቐንዲ ረቛሒ ናይ ምፍሻሉን ክኸዉን'ዩ።

ለ) ኣብ ዉሽጢ ትግራይ፣ ፖለቲካ ሓድነት ክልሕልሕን ናይ ምዉንጃል መንፈስ ክዛይድን'ዩ። ከም ዉጽኢቱ'ድማ እምባገነናዊ ኣተሓሳስባ ክስዕርርን፣ ኣብ ዉሽጢ ትግራይ ከቢድ ፖለቲካዊ ወጥሪ ክረኣይ ክንጽበ ንኽእል። ከም ኣብነት እዚ ድሮ ኣብ ዉሽጢ መቐለ ፈኸም እንዳበከለ ክስዕርር ዝጸንሐ ፍጥጥ መናእሰያት ትግራይን ህወሓትን፣ ወድዓዊ ኣብነት'ዩ።

ሐ) ተኽሎ ፖለቲካዊ ድኻማት ህወሓት፣ ኣብ ዉሽጢ ትግራይ፣ ምትፍናን ካልኦት ፖለቲካዉያን ሓይልታት ክረአ'ዉን ልዑል ተኽእሎ ኣሎ። ምኽንያቱ፣ ናይ ፖለቲካ ሃጓፋት ኣብ ዝፍጠረሉ እዋን፣ ናዕብን ዕግርግርን ክረኣይ ንቡር ስለ ዝኾነ።

ኣብ መደምደምታ፣ ኣብ 2020 ኣብ መንጎ ፈደራላዊ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያን ህወሓትን ኩናት ናይ ምርኣይ ተኽእሎና ክሳብ ክንደይ ዓቢ'ዩ፧

ኣብ መንጎ ክልል ትግራይን ፈደራላዊ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያን፣ ኩናት ናይ ምርኣይ ዘሎና ተኽእሎ፣ ሎሚ ካብ ትማሊ ዝዛየደ'ዩ። ምኽንያቱ፣ ሽሕ'ኳ ህወሓት ሒዛቶ ክትከይድ ዝጸንሐት ፖለቲካዊ ኣካይዳ ሓደገኝነቶም ዝከሓድ እንተዘይኮነ፣ ኣብዚ ሕጂ እዋን ዘለዋ ምርጫታት ኣዝዮም ዉሑዳት ብሙዃኖም፣ ካብ ሕጂ ንደሓር እትወስዶም ዉሳኔታት፣ ብመጠን ክህልዎም ዝኽእል ሓደገኝነት፣ ኣዝዩ ዓቢ ክኸዉን ክንጽበ ንኽእል።
